We reserve the right in our sole discretion to edit or delete any of the items, information or any content appearing on the website, including these terms and conditions, without notice to users of the website.

Accuracy of information

Bed and Couch Lifestyle will at all times strive to ensure that the content on this website is accurate. The colours and photos are as a guide only and may vary from the products.

Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of all visitors to this website. All the information gathered in the online form on the website is used to personally identify users that subscribe to this service. The information will not be used for anything other than that which is stated in the terms & conditions of use for this service. None of the information will be sold or made available to anyone.

The website may collect certain information about your visit, such as the name of the Internet Service Provider and the Internet Protocol address through which you access the Internet. The date and time you access the website, the pages that you access while in the website and the Internet Address of the website from which you linked directly to our website. The information is used to help improve the website, analyse trends and administer the website.

Product availability

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, delivery will be within 5 working days.

Should the product not be in stock, please allow 10 to 15 working days for manufacturing and delivery to our Stores or unless otherwise communicated.

Every effort is made to effect your delivery timorously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should this occur, our Staff will contact you to arrange an alternative date and time.

Delivery Policy

Deliveries are done from Monday to Saturday during Business hours.  We will contact you to arrange the delivery before the delivery is sent out.

Dispatching of deliveries will be done within 5 working days if the product is in stock.  Should the product not be available and needs to be specifically manufactured for you, please allow 10 to 15 working days for the delivery.

We provide delivery in Gauteng for a flat fee of R350 for purchases made online.  If you live outside Gauteng, please contact Bed & Couch at info@bedandcouchlifestyle.co.za  to check if we can deliver in your area as well as the amount that will be charged.


Should you not wish to make use of our delivery service, please contact us to arrange the collection of your purchase.


Should you wish to cancel an order, please send an email to the email address on the invoice you received or send an email to info@bedandcouchlifestyle.co.za.

Stock items can be returned within 7 days if they are in their original packaging and have not been used.  If the goods have been used, Bed & Couch is under no obligation to accept the stock back.  

A cancellation handling fee of 10% of the total sale will be withheld from the refund.  The refund excludes the delivery fee.

No cash refunds will be given.  The refund will be paid back into the bank account from which the payment was received from.

Guarantees and Warranties on Beds and Mattresses

It is important to note that Workmanship is guaranteed, personal comfort cannot be guaranteed. 

The various Brands that we sell all carry different Guarantees and Warranties, which are provided by the various Manufacturers.  The Guarantees range from 1 Year to 2 years and covers poor workmanship or material defects.  The Warranty period varies from between 1 year up to 25 years.

Please note that the Guarantees and Warranties are immediately voided if you bed is soiled in any way.  We will not be able to assist you with any claim against a faulty product and your guarantee and warranty will fall away.

We recommend the use of mattress protectors to protect your investment.

Guarantees: During the guarantee period, any problems experienced with your bed or mattress, we will at our expense, excluding transport costs raise a claim with the Manufacturer for repairs or replacement.

Warranties: The Warranty comes into effect once the Guarantee period has expired.  Any claim raised during this period, a pro-rata charge could be charged as well as transport costs for repairs.

Guarantees and Warranties on Furniture

Guarantee on Recliner Sets

  • 5 Year Guarantee on the Recliner mechanisms
  • 3 Year Guarantee on the frames
  • 2 Year Guarantee on all leather look fabrics
  • 1 Year Guarantee on the workmanship, stitching and foam

Guarantee on all other Furniture

  • 1 Year Guarantee on poor workmanship and/or material defects

Please be so kind to contact Bed & Couch should you require repairs or replacement furniture which is under guarantee.

Returns and Exchanges

Any item that has been specifically ordered for a Customer in a size which we normally don’t supply, or colour of Furniture or any customisation to Lounge Suites, will be deemed as special orders.  Bed & Couch is under no obligation to exchange the product or refund on special orders.

No refunds or exchanges will be given on items purchased which cannot be delivered into the intended room.  Please ensure that the product you have ordered can be brought into the intended room.

On delivery or collection, the Customer will be required to sign acceptance that the correct item has been received in good order from Bed & Couch. 

Should the product be damaged, faulty or the wrong item has been received, please be so kind to contact your Sales Consultant immediately in order for us to rectify.

Returns will only be accepted if;

  • The product is damaged
  • The product is faulty
  • The wrong item was received
  • In the original packaging

After acceptance of the product and the product is faulty, please be so kind to contact your Sales Consultant or info@bedandcouchlifestyle.co.za.  Once the fault/complaint has been lodged, Bed & Couch will arrange for a product inspection.  Based on the outcome of this inspection, we will raise a claim with the Manufacturer under the terms of the Guarantee and Warranty policies.

Please note that no soiled products will be accepted as a return/exchange/repair.  The terms of the Guarantee and Warranty is that the product must be in a sanitary state.  If the product is in an unsanitary state, the Guarantee and Warranty is immediately voided and will fall away.  This is common with all Manufacturers.

This website is owned and operated within the Republic of South Africa. Therefore these terms & conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the user consents to the jurisdiction of the Cape Town High Court in the event of any dispute.

Updating of these Terms & Conditions

Bed and Couch Lifestyle reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove from portions or the whole of the terms & conditions from time to time. Changes to the terms & conditions will become effective when such changes are posted to the website.


I hereby accept the terms & conditions. I undertake not to copy or duplicate the designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found in violation of this agreement, I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Bed and Couch Lifestyle for any Civil action or legal action deemed necessary against me.
